Vegas is known for their over-the-top restaurants and celebrity chefs. However, when you’re dining with kids, sometimes you just want tried and true favorites. Well fear not, because the Las Vegas Strip has many of your hometown go-to restaurants. Keep in mind that prices will be slightly higher, but the menu will be exactly what you’re used to.
1. PF Chang’s

PF Chang’s is located inside of the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, and this flagship location is consistently one of the busiest in the country. PF Chang’s offers Asian-inspired dishes at affordable prices. As with all PF Chang’s locations, this location offers a kid’s menu. You can make reservations online or place an order for pickup or delivery.
This is a great choice for any gluten-free diners! PF Chang’s has an extensive gluten-free menu. They also use a designated gluten-free cooking station with dedicated woks, utensils, and even unique plates, which really helps avoid cross-contamination.
2. Olive Garden
Price Range: $$ | Website
Olive Garden is located on the Las Vegas Strip in Showcase Mall. They offer a traditional Italian-inspired menu, with lunch specials, a kid’s menu, and some gluten-free options. If you prefer, take-out is available too - they even offer wine and beer to-go.

3. Maggiano’s Little Italy

Maggiano’s is in Fashion Show Mall, across the street from the Wynn. Maggiano’s started in Chicago and can now be found across the US, offering authentic Italian classics. They are open for lunch and dinner. Along with a kid’s menu, they also offer family-style dining.

4. Outback Steakhouse
Price Range: $$ | Website
There are currently two Outback Steakhouses on the Las Vegas Strip. One is in the Showcase Mall to the south, and the other is located in Casino Royale, to the north. Both offer the traditional Outback menu, including the popular Bloomin’ Onion.
Casino Royal is rumored to be closing soon. Before selecting this location, call to be sure they are still open.
5. Denny’s
Price Range: $-$$ | Website
There are four Denny’s locations on the Las Vegas Strip. All four are open 24/7! One is located across from Resorts World, another is located next to Venetian, the third is located inside Casino Royale, and the fourth is located across from MGM’s The Park Hotel and Casino. They offer breakfast all day, lunch, and dinner. They also have a kid’s menu and special offers for those 55+.

6. Yard house

Yard House is located on the Las Vegas Strip in the LINQ Promenade. Yard House offers traditional American-style food with global influences. You will find everything from great burgers to Poke Nachos and Vampire Tacos. Kids will love the dishes on the kid’s menu, including classic sliders and chicken tenders.
Consider visiting the Yard House location down the street at Town Square Las Vegas. On average, prices are $1-$4 dollars less per item for off-strip locations.
7. The cheesecake factory

The Cheesecake Factory is in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Cheesecake Factory has a very large menu, including a kid’s menu for children 10 and under. This location is open daily for lunch and dinner and it opens an hour earlier on the weekend for brunch.
8. Rainforest Café
Price Range: $-$$ | Website
Your family will go wild for the Rainforest Cafe located outside the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino, on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue. They are open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and serve lunch and dinner the rest of the week. The menu includes traditional American fare with some tropical-themed additions. 9. Giordano’s

Giordano’s is Italian-born and Chicago-raised pizza. This popular chain specializes in deep-dish pizza. Here you can enjoy appetizers, salads, pasta, and pizza. They offer individual and family-size portions. Giordano’s is located in front of the Horseshoe Casino in the Grand Bazaar Shops.

10. Bubba Gump Shrimp
