A guide to Fine Dining with Kids in Las Vegas

If you can’t already tell by the name of our site, we think Vegas is a place for everyone in your family - including your kids! But that doesn’t necessarily mean that every place in Vegas is for kids, especially young children. Even though your three-year-old might have a sophisticated palate, don’t be surprised if your little food savant is not welcome in some of your favorite fine dining restaurants in Vegas. Read on for what you need to know about some of the most popular fine dining options in Vegas and their policies for bringing kids to their establishments.

Mayfair Supper Club @ Bellagio

Age Requirement: 12+ | Website

The Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio is a glamorous, immersive dining experience that blends upscale cuisine with live entertainment and a vintage Vegas vibe. While it's a hit with adults seeking a night of sophistication and spectacle, it may not be the ideal spot for your kids. The menu features high-end items like caviar and Wagyu steak, with prices often exceeding $100 per person. The room is also incredibly loud - the last time we visited, everyone in our party received multiple “high noise” alerts on our Apple Watches!

It’s also good to keep in mind that the entertainment tends to be adult-oriented, especially during Mayfair After Dark on Friday and Saturday night from 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM, when admission is restricted to 21+.

Sinatra @ Encore

Age Requirement: 5+ | Website

Sinatra at Encore/Wynn is a refined tribute to Frank Sinatra, offering elegant Italian cuisine in a four-star setting surrounded by memorabilia and swing music. It’s perfect for adults seeking a sophisticated dining experience!

The restaurant enforces a business casual dress code and does not permit children under five. There is also no kids menu, and many of the dishes on the menu are enhanced with alcohol, including the delicious dessert pictured below.

Top of the World @ The Strat

Age Requirement: None | Website

Top of the World at The STRAT is a striking fine-dining restaurant perched over 800 feet above Las Vegas, offering breathtaking panoramic views as the dining room slowly revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes. It’s a bucket-list experience for many adults, especially couples seeking a romantic or upscale evening.

However, it may pose challenges for families with young children. The revolving motion, while mesmerizing to most, can be disorienting for kids - especially those prone to motion sickness. The restaurant enforces a strict upscale dress code and requires a minimum food purchase per guest ($55), which may not suit younger diners with simpler tastes. While children aren’t prohibited, the elegant ambiance and adult-centric menu make it a better fit for older kids who can appreciate the experience and behave accordingly.

This restaurant is also not great for larger groups, as the tables are limited to 7 or fewer guests.

Bavette’s @ Park MGM

Age Requirement: None | Website

Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM brings a sultry, jazz-infused twist to the classic steakhouse experience. Originally a Chicago favorite, its Las Vegas outpost blends French flair with vintage Vegas charm - think red velvet banquettes, dim lighting, and glowing chandeliers that set the mood for indulgence.

The dark environment and couch-style seating may not be ideal for younger kids. The menu features richly marbled ribeyes, fresh seafood towers, decadent sides, and some of the best desserts in town! However, they do not have any kids menus.

Bavette’s made our Local’s Best Burgers list! Be sure to check out all of the Best Burger options if you’re looking for incredible burger options in Las Vegas. Many fine dining establishments have some of the best burgers due to the quality of the meat.

Carbone @ Aria

Age Requirment: 6+ | Website

Carbone Las Vegas is a celebrity magnet, frequently visited by stars like Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and often associated with the Kardashian crowd. Known for its glamorous, old-school Italian-American vibe, the restaurant delivers theatrical flair with tableside presentations - especially its iconic Caesar salad, prepared with precision and panache right in front of you. While the experience is undeniably stylish and memorable, it’s not particularly suited for younger kids.

If you are looking for the Carbone flavor with kids, consider eating at Parm, by Carbone, in the Aria food court, where everyone is welcome.

Golden Steer

Age Requirement: 5+ | Website

The Golden Steer Steakhouse is a legendary Las Vegas institution that has been serving up timeless elegance and prime cuts since 1958. Nestled just off the Strip, it’s famous not only for its USDA Prime beef and classic tableside Caesar salad, but also for its rich history - Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Muhammad Ali were among its regulars.

This is one of the hardest reservations to get in Las Vegas - if you decide to take your family here, be sure to make reservations months in advance.

Genting Palace @ Resorts World

Age Requirement: None | Website

Genting Palace at Resorts World Las Vegas is a luxurious fine-dining destination that transports guests into a world of old-school glamour and authentic Cantonese cuisine. With its opulent décor (think velvet seating, cherry blossom panels, and moon-shaped entryways) the restaurant sets the stage for an elevated culinary experience.

Signature dishes include dim sum with black truffle, wok-fried scallops, and braised bird’s nest soup with Alaskan crab, all crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The highlight for many is the Signature Seafood Buffet, offered Wednesday through Sunday, showcasing an extravagant spread of fresh seafood and traditional Chinese delicacies. While the ambiance is elegant and refined, the restaurant does offer a children's buffet option, making it more accessible to families than many upscale venues on the Strip.

Bouchon @ Venetian

Age Requirement: None | Website

Bouchon at The Venetian Las Vegas is a refined French bistro by acclaimed chef Thomas Keller, offering a taste of Parisian elegance in the heart of the Strip. Located on the 10th floor of the South Tower, the restaurant features a sunlit dining room and charming patio, perfect for savoring classics like steak frites, escargot, and fresh oysters.

Known for its award-winning brunch (Thursday-Sunday), Bouchon serves up buttery croissants, quiche, and delicate pastries that rival those of any Paris café. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely breakfast or a fancy family dinner, the ambiance and cuisine make Bouchon a standout destination for lovers of French fare.

To keep a European theme going, consider treating your family to a gondola ride, before or after dinner.

SW Steakhouse @ wynn

Age Requirement: 5+ | Website

SW Steakhouse at Wynn Las Vegas is a premier destination for steak lovers, offering prime-aged cuts, including certified Japanese and American Wagyu, in a setting that’s as dazzling as the Strip itself. Signature dishes include the chile-rubbed double-cut ribeye, short rib ravioli with crispy horseradish, and the opulent Seafood Spectacular, a chilled tower of Maine lobster, king crab legs, oysters, and scallop ceviche.

Be sure to request a table with a view of the Lake of Dreams show. The show runs every half hour starting at dusk - your family will love it!

Fine dining with kids in Las Vegas is not only possible, it can be surprisingly delightful. While the city is known for its glitz and glamour, some upscale restaurants have embraced a more inclusive approach. From lakeside light shows at SW Steakhouse to whimsical desserts at celebrity chef venues, families can enjoy elevated cuisine without sacrificing comfort or fun. With a little planning, Las Vegas can be a place where culinary sophistication and family memories can go hand in hand. Just be sure to check with the restaurant before bringing your little foodies!
