A local’s guide to the Best Burgers in Las Vegas
Las Vegas loves to do things bigger and better than everyone else, and the hamburger is no exception. As Las Vegas locals, we’ve spent years trying burgers all over the city - check out our list of the best burgers in Las Vegas in seven unique categories.
Best Overall Burger
Bavette’s Steakhouse | Price Range: $$ | Website
Peter Luger Steak House | Price Range: $$ | Website
Many popular steakhouses in Vegas have a burger on the menu, and what makes these burgers unique is the quality of the ingredients. At steakhouses, the burger is made from high-quality meat (often ground in house) and the buns are often baked fresh as well. Most steakhouses offer a traditional burger with all the fixings, including the option of adding bacon or an egg.
The best overall hamburger is a tie for us between Bavette’s Steakhouse at Park MGM and Peter Luger Steak House at Caesars Palace. The burger is only available for lunch (until 4 pm) at Peter Lugers, and Bavette’s is only open for dinner, so you can have a great burger for lunch or dinner!
In a break from tradition, Peter Luger Steak House in Las Vegas accepts credit cards, so you don’t have to worry about having cash like you would at the other Peter Luger locations.
Best Fast-Food Burger
In-N-Out Burger | Price Range: $ | Website
For a long time, it wasn’t considered a fast-food restaurant unless it had a burger on the menu. There are several fast-food chains up and down the strip, but if you’re looking for the best burger, be sure to check out In-N-Out Burger. There are twenty In-N-Out Burgers in the Las Vegas area, with most opening around 10:30 AM and staying open until at least 1:00 am.
Currently, there is one In-N-Out Burger on the Las Vegas Strip in the LINQ Promenade. But the largest In-N-Out burger is currently under construction across from Aria/The Park MGM! It will be a two-story restaurant with views of the strip, and it’s scheduled to open in 2026.
Order your burger “Animal Style”. It’s grilled in mustard, and has added grilled onions, pickles, and In-N-Out Burgers’ secret sauce.
3. Best Vegan Burger
Terrace Pointe Cafe | Price Range: $$ | Website
Wynn is known for accommodating special dietary requests, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that we think the best vegan burger can be found at Terrace Pointe Café at Wynn. Their Impossible Sliders include shiitake mushrooms, arugula, crispy onions, turmeric pickled cucumber, house-made mustard aioli, on a sesame bun. It’s listed as an appetizer on their menu, but the serving size is definitely enough for a main course.
Get the Vegan Smore Shake to go along with this burger. It is amazing!
Best Celebrity Chef Burger
Bobby’s Burger | Price Range: $ | Website
Vegas is a hub for celebrity chefs. If you’ve seen them on television, they most likely have a restaurant in Vegas. This is great news for everyone who visits Las Vegas, as restaurants are always offering new and trending menu items.
Bobby Flay is a celebrity chef known for his grilled meats. He capitalized on this reputation and opened his burger restaurants called Bobby’s Burgers. His burger joints can be found in several Caesars-owned properties, including Caesars Palace, Paris, and Harrah’s. Our favorite burger here is the Crunch Burger – a cheeseburger covered in potato chips. Bobby’s Burgers are fast, grab-and-go food (most are located in the casino’s Food Halls) so it’s a great option for a quick and casual lunch.
If you are looking for a sit-down experience, consider Gordon Ramsay’s Burger at Planet Hollywood. This was a close 2nd for our favorite celebrity burger.
Best Bargain Burger
Station Casinos | Price Range: $ | Website
Everybody loves a good deal, and Station Casinos has an epic burger deal. Their 5.99 Cheeseburger Special includes a quarter-pound patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, burger sauce, and French fries. A Boarding Pass, the Station Casinos Reward Card, is required for this deal so be sure to stop by the Rewards Desk and sign up for one if you don’t already have one. This deal is valid 24/7, excluding holidays.
You can grab this deal at multiple locations. It’s available at the Lucky Penny Restaurant inside Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Casino; The Brass Fork inside Palace Station Casino, Sunset Station Casino, and Santa Fe Station Casino; and Game On inside Boulder Station Casino.
While you are at one of the Station Casinos, check out some of their family entertainment options; most locations have a movie theater and a bowling alley. Some locations even offer short-term childcare if you want to do some gambling while you are there!
Biggest Burger
The Heart Attack Grill | Price Range: $$ | Website
The Heart Attack Grill in Downtown Las Vegas boasts to have some of the biggest burgers in the world. The Quadruple Bypass Burger® has even been awarded the title of World's Most Calorific Burger by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®, who quoted the caloric content to be 9,983 calories! And since this record, they have added even bigger burgers.
This restaurant has a hospital theme, with waitresses wearing nurses’ uniforms, and customers are given hospital gowns and referred to as patients. If you’re looking for a unique burger experience, write yourself a prescription to visit the Heart Attack Grill.
This establishment is more appropriate for older kids and adults. The nurses are scantily clad, and patrons who do not finish their meal are given the opportunity to be spanked as one of their trademark gimmicks.
Best Kid’s meal burger
Rainforest Cafe | Price Range: $ | Website
The RAINFOREST RASCALS™ from Rainforest Café tops our list for the best kid’s meal burger. This burger can be ordered with or without cheese and includes a side and a drink.
Rainforest Cafe is located outside the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue. This is one of the few places on the Strip with a kid’s menu! Your entire family can find something they will enjoy from their menu of American fare with some tropical-themed additions. Be sure to check out Tracy the Talking Tree while you’re there, too!
