Travel the world without leaving las Vegas
Las Vegas attracts visitors from around the world, and these visitors feel at home in Vegas because the city’s landscape includes replicas of iconic landmarks from around the world! The Luxor, named after a famous city in Egypt, is a replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The New York-New York Hotel has a replica of the Statue of Liberty - it is so accurate that the US Post Office used an image of this statue on the Lady Liberty stamp by mistake.
Many replicas can also be found inside the hotels. For example, inside Caesars Palace, you will find a replica of the famous statue of David and inside the Venetian you can find replicas of the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. By visiting some of these popular attractions, you can travel the world without ever leaving Las Vegas!
1. Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck
Price Range: $$ | Website
If you can’t visit Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is the next best thing! The Eiffel Tower on the Las Vegas Strip is a half-scale replica of the actual Eiffel Tower in France (the height of buildings on the Las Vegas Strip is limited due to the proximity of the Las Vegas airport) but it’s still an incredible sight to see.
The viewing deck for this Eiffel Tower is 46 stories above the strip and offers amazing 360 ° views of the city, including the Bellagio Fountain show. The Eiffel Tower itself lights up in a recurring light show each night which is fun to see from both the ground and the sky. Souvenir photos are also available, so this is a great place to get that perfect family photo to remember your amazing Las Vegas family vacation.
Skip the restaurant at the Eiffel Tower. It is more of an adult venue, and they require each diner to order an entree from the menu. Instead, give Mon Ami Gabi, on the ground floor, a try. It also has great views of the Bellagio Fountain across the street.
2. Venetian Gondola Ride
Price Range: $$ | Website
If you can’t make it to Venice this year, you can still participate in one of their famous traditions - a gondola ride at the Venetian Resort! The hotel was constructed by Sheldon Adelson, who selected the Italian theme as an homage to where he and his wife, Dr. Miriam Adelson, honeymooned.
On this ride, you and your family will be serenaded by a singing gondolier as they sail the boat past shops, cafés, and underneath bridges while you admire the amazing architecture.
There are two unique ride options - one is inside and the other ventures outside to include views of the famous Vegas Strip. Each gondola can seat four people, so keep in mind that if you have less than four in your group you may be sharing your ride. Children 2 and under are free, but they do count toward the total boat maximum of 4 individuals.
Even if you decide a boat ride is not for you, there are spots along the gondola path to watch. Also, twice daily the gondoliers perform as they march along the indoor canal to begin their shift.
3. FlyOver

This ride is great for all ages who are over 40″ tall. You will be seated for the entire ride, but keep in mind that the ride does move. Allow about an hour for this experience, and note that you’ll need to check in 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
