Terrace Pointe Café @ Wynn Las Vegas: Tasty Treats for the Entire Family

Price Range: $$ | Website

Terrace Pointe Café is located at the Wynn/Encore in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is open daily for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. It has a large indoor dining area and an outdoor space that overlooks the main pool at the Wynn. There’s something here for the whole family - read on to find out all about this great dining option for your next Vegas family vacation.

Seating & Reservations

Terrace Pointe Café is a popular dining choice, and for good reason! Reservations are recommended during peak times and can be made from the Wynn website. If you are not sure about your schedule there is a line for walk-ins, just be prepared to wait for a bit. However, if you are staying on property in the Tower Suites or have a Wynn Black Reward Card, they have a special VIP line for faster seating.

Once seated, a person in a solid-colored orange shirt will take your drink order. This is not your server; they are only able to take your drink order. They will also get your additional things like straws, condiments, extra napkins, and clear your table of empty or unused dishes.

The next person you meet (who will be in a striped shirt) should be your server. This person will answer any menu questions and take your order. They will also settle your check at the end of your meal.

If it’s not too hot, consider sitting outside with the pool view. If you’ve already read out Wynn and Encore Hotel guide, you know that the Wynn uses hawks to deter birds in their pool area! It’s super fun for everyone in the family to see the hawks being walked around the pool area by the falconers.

Breakfast

Terrace Pointe Café opens at 7am. Breakfast delights include fruit, yogurt, muffins, and pastries. All-day breakfast options include eggs, pancakes, Croissant French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, and Maple Hot Chicken & Waffles.

The pancakes are one of our favorite menu items. They are thick and so tasty - they don’t even need butter or syrup! But of course those are still available if you want them. Another favorite is the Avocado Toast - everything on it is cold, even the poached egg!

There is no kid’s menu, but the entrée items are large enough to share. Drink options include coffee, teas, juices and smoothies. However, the smoothies are very small for the price so you shouldn’t plan on sharing one.

Order the Cinna-Delight. This is a large cinnamon roll with tableside toppings. Choices include Cookies and Cream, S’more, or Crème Brulée. Kids will love getting to choose the toppings and seeing this prepared tableside.

Lunch

Terrace Pointe Café offers a large selection of lunch items. You can begin with an appetizer. These appetizers are a good size and would make a great entrée too!

Additional lunch options include soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and entrees. The Turkey B.L.T. is triple triple-decker with a delicious bacon tomato jam. Other favorites include the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and the Poke Bowls.

You can modify items for picky eaters. For example, they can make a plain grilled cheese, on your bread choice, as opposed to the Short Rib Grilled Cheese.

desserts

Be sure to save room for dessert! They have an amazing Banana Split Waffle Bowl. The S’more Shake is also fantastic, and it comes with two chocolate chip cookies. This shake happens to be Vegan too; though we doubt you would have been able to tell by the flavor if we hadn’t told you. The shake also includes a delicious toasted marshmallow-inspired topping.

If you are celebrating anything special (birthday, graduation), be sure to call ahead. Wynn has an on-site bakery and can make something special for you.

Allergens and Food Preferences

Wynn does an amazing job accommodating allergies and food preferences. Begin by notifying the waitstaff of any allergens or foods you do not eat. The menu is labeled with Vegan options, including several Impossible meat choices. The server can also let you know how dishes can be modified for other allergens. Don’t be afraid to ask for something, even if you don’t see it on the menu! The kitchen will do what they can to accommodate you.

Terrace Pointe Café is a great choice for breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing, and so is the ambiance. They don’t every try to rush you here, so plan on spending at least an hour or more for a meal - a great way to start a relaxing day on your Vegas family vacation!
