Ten Family Friendly restaurants in Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown Las Vegas can be a great place to visit with your family! There are so many fun things to do like visiting Container Park, Slotzilla, the Arts District, the Children’s Museum, Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum, and the Mob Museum. After all this fun, you’ll have definitely worked up an appetite, so take some time to check out one of the family friendly restaurants on this list the next time you visit Downtown Las Vegas.

1. Evel Pie

Price Range: $-$$ | Website

This restaurant has ties to the famous Evel Knievel. His son Branden is one of the founders! Evel was a daredevil and a performer, and the same can be said for the pizza at Evel Pie. The pies have daredevil themed names and exciting flavors, with options available by the slice or by the pie.

Before going, check out some videos on YouTube of Evel Pie’s pizza eating challenge – The Reaper. We don’t recommend trying it when you visit, but it’s sure fun to watch someone else attempt it!

2. Garden Court Buffet

Price Range: $$ | Website

The Garden Court Buffet is the last remaining buffet in Downtown Las Vegas and is located inside the Main Street Casino. The buffet is open daily for brunch and is open for dinner Friday-Saturday. Brunch pricing starts at $23.99+. Children 4-10 are ½ off.

Avoid this buffet on holidays if you can - the price and wait times increase exponentially.

If you love it, you can order Coney Island kits to be sent home, so you can continue to enjoy this long-standing tradition when you return from your vacation!

This is a great place to start or end your Downtown/Fremont Street expeditions, as The D Hotel and Casino is located at the end of the Fremont Street Experience.

This is a great place for a meal or a quick snack, as you can buy the sliders individually if you’re just looking to tide everyone over until your next big meal!

6. Heart Attack Grill

Price Range: $$ | Website

The Heart Attack Grill is famous for their huge portions – big enough to potentially have negative impacts on your health. The restaurant leans into this idea with their hospital theme, with waitresses wearing nurses’ uniforms and customers offered hospital gowns to wear while they eat.

One of their burgers, the Quadruple Bypass Burger®, has even been awarded the title of World's Most Calorific Burger by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®. The Heart Attack Grill is your prescription for a unique burger experience in downtown Las Vegas!

This establishment is more appropriate for older kids and adults. The nurses dress provocatively. Also, as a schtick, patrons who do not finish their meal are given the opportunity to be spanked.
