Poker Rooms off of the Las Vegas Strip

Vegas offers a lot of options if you want to play poker. There are 10 poker rooms on the Las Vegas Strip, but did you know that there are another 7 rooms scattered around the city? The off-strip poker rooms traditionally offer lower limits and are locals’ favorite places to play - read on to find a spot for your next session!


Westgate Poker Room

The Westgate has a smaller poker room, which means it can sometimes be less intimidating than the larger rooms. The poker room is located just outside the famous Westgate SuperBook. They usually have at least 1 No Limit Hold’em table and 1 Limit Hold’em game.

  • Hours: Vary based on the day of the week. Open most days around 12 pm, earlier on the weekend.

  • Restroom: Located inside the poker room, in the food court.

  • Parking: Paid parking and paid valet - validation may be available for certain hours of play.

There is a monorail stop at this property. If you’re staying on the Strip, consider taking the monorail to get to the Westgate.


Orleans Poker Room

The Orleans is located a few blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip. This 34-table room is best known for its mixed game action - they regularly offer Omaha 8 or Better, Stud, Limit Hold’em, and No-Limit Hold’em. They also have an extended tournament area right outside the poker room for larger tournaments.

This room has a lot of promotions, so be sure to familiarize yourself with all the promotions before you start playing. Keep in mind that there may be pot requirements or a required number of cards in your hand to qualify, depending on the game.


South Point Poker room

South Point is located on Las Vegas Boulevard, just a few miles south of the Las Vegas Strip. This room is a local’s favorite, and with 30 tables you won’t have to wait long for a seat. They regularly spread No Limit Hold’em, Limit Hold’em, Omaha 8 or Better, and PLO, with limits as low as $4-$8 for limit games and $1-$2 for No and Pot Limit.

Golden Nugget poker room

Golden Nugget is the only poker room in Downtown Las Vegas. They have 13 tables, and they offer both Limit and No Limit Texas Hold’em, in addition to several Poker Series Tournaments.

  • Hours: 24/7 - Although games don’t always run 24/7

  • Restroom: Next to the poker room.

  • Parking: Paid garage and paid valet - validation for play in the GNLV Garage only.

  • Reward Program: 24K Select Club

Red Rock Poker Room

The Poker Room at Red Rock is a spacious room with 20 tables located in Summerlin. They mainly spread No Limit and Limit Texas Hold’em.

6. Boulder Station

7. Santa Fe Station

Santa Fe is another Stations Casino property and is located in the Northwest area of Las Vegas. This 14-table poker room is in front of the Bowling Center. Most days, you’ll find active No Limit and Limit Hold’em games and Omaha with a half-kill.
