Five Family-Friendly Activities for resort Guests at Tahiti Village Las Vegas
Tahiti Village is an island-inspired oasis located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It is consistently voted one of the best family-friendly resorts in Las Vegas, and for good reason! This all-suite property is great for families, and has some awesome activity options for resort guests! Read on to learn more about some of our favorite events, entertainment and activities Tahiti Village has to offer.
1. pool & lazy river
Price Range: FREE! | Website
If you’re a fan of sand entry pools and lazy rivers, you’re in luck! Tahiti Village’s pool area boasts one of Las Vegas’ longest Lazy Rivers (1/8th of a mile!) that weaves through the pool and around the beach area. It also has four distinct water fall features, two hot tubs (one exclusively for adults and the other for the whole family) and year-round heating.
What we really love about the Tahiti Village pool area is how late it stays open in the summer. Most pools on the strip close by 6:00 or 7:00 PM, but the pool at Tahiti Village is open until 10:00 PM in the summer (with extended hours until midnight for the adults only hot tub!) Before you go, check out the full pool rules and hours by season here.
The pool area is limited to resort guest and wristbands are required to gain entry and use of aquatics facilities. You must have an owner band or guest band on at all times. If you didn’t receive one at check-in, head over to the Concierge desk before going out to the pool to grab one.
There are also two Tiki themed bars in the pool area, ready to serve you all the classic beachy drinks as well as some fun Tahiti Village signature cocktails. If you want a pool day on your Vegas family vacation, Tahiti Village is where you want to be!
Complimentary Lazy River tubes are provided, so no need to bring your own or worry about fining a place to buy one!
2. Tiki Cove Arcade
Price Range: $-$$ | Website
Located on the first floor of Tower 1 and open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the Tiki Cove Arcade is packed with family friendly games that everyone in the family will love. Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times which means you won’t be able to send them to the arcade alone, so be sure to plan for an afternoon of family fun!
Tiki Cove Arcade is completely cashless and utilizes playing cards issued from a kiosk located inside of the arcade, so you’ll need to grab one before you can start playing.
3. Beat of joy
Price Range: FREE! | Website
This totally free rhythmic drum session (led by a former member of The Blue Man Group!) is a low-impact movement class that combines positive affirmations with music and percussion designed for self-expression and emotional release - it’s really just an all-around great time!
Guests aged 7 and up are welcome to partake, we definitely recommend that the whole family attends and participates together if possible! As mentioned this activity is free for hotel guests, but you do need to make a reservation here or directly at the Concierge desk to participate.
Come in comfortable clothing and shoes! You’ll be moving around during this uplifting and empowering jam session.
4. paradise Yoga

Guests aged 13+ are welcome to participate in this vinyasa yoga class in the Sky View Lounge. There is no cost for hotel guests. This yoga class is the perfect way to kick off your vacation, to reset mid-vacation or to end your vacation in a relaxing way!
Wear comfortable, breathable clothes. Yoga mats and water are provided.
5. Po Makeke Night Market and Luau
Price Range: $$-$$$ | Website
Las Vegas is often called the Ninth Island, due to its ties to Hawaii and our large Hawaiian community. At Tahiti Village, they honor this legacy with a traditional Night Market and Luau during the Summer months!
First, you can shop for island inspired craft and join in Polynesian activities at Po Makeke (Night Market) which is open to the public before the Luau in the Island Courtyard. The Luau is a separate paid activity, but it’s a wonderful experience!
The Luau includes a full buffet and a 75 minute show. You’ll enjoy delicious island flavors during the Luau show including mouthwatering Teriyaki chicken, slow-roasted kalua pork, macaroni salad, white rice, rolls and butter, concluding with a delightful pineapple upside-down cake. The whole family will love this authentic Luau experience, complete with fire dancers!
The Luau buffet offers kids’ pricing for kids aged 3-12. Children under 3 are FREE.
There is so much to do at Tahiti Village, you may be tempted to never leave! But if you do want to venture to the Las Vegas Strip, they offer a complimentary shuttle for resort guests. Even though we’re locals, we love Tahiti Village for our own Vegas family staycations, and we hope you can see why. If you’re looking to plan your own Vegas family vacation, be sure to add Tahiti Village to your list of options - the whole family will thank you!
