Five best places to get snacks & supplies Near the Las Vegas strip

If you’ve made it to Vegas and you need to stock up on groceries or pick up some essentials, you may find the prices at your hotel’s sundries shop to be a little different than what you’re used to back home. But the good news is that you have options! Check out these other places to get everything you need on your next Vegas family vacation.

1. Target

Opened in 202, there is now a Target on the Las Vegas Strip across from Park MGM. This Target is a smaller version that what you may be used to - it has a grocery section, liquor, health and personal care items, household items, clothing, and even a Starbucks.

The prices may appear higher; however, they will match prices from the Target app. You can also use your Red Card to save an additional 5%. If you are using a pin-debit card, you can also get $40 cash back with no fees.

The Starbucks inside this Target will honor your points and even any other offers you have including the free birthday drink. Most other Starbucks on the Strip do not honor these rewards.

2. whole foods

Just south of the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard, Whole Foods is located in Town Square Las Vegas. Town Square is an outdoor shopping mall with Whole Foods as one of the anchors. You can also find a TJ Maxx, several retail stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater here too.

Whole Foods has a hot food bar, individual meals, pizza, and sushi. Whole Foods also delivers to the Strip via Amazon Prime or Instacart!

3. CVS

There are three CVS Stores on the Las Vegas Strip, each location is open 24/7. Each location has a pharmacy, although the pharmacy is not open 24/7. The prices may be higher than your traditional grocery store, but most likely less than your hotel’s sundries store:

  • 3758 Las Vegas Blvd – In front of Aria (near Harmon & Las Vegas Blvd)

  • 3645 Las Vegas Blvd – in front of Horseshoe (near Flamingo & Las Vegas Blvd)

  • 3300 Las Vegas Blvd - In front of Treasure Island (near Sands & Las Vegas Blvd)

If you need an ATM, consider using the ones inside CVS. They use the Allpoint Network, and many banks partner with this network so be sure to check with your bank. In most cases, these ATMs are still cheaper than using any ATM you would find inside of a casino.

4. Walgreens

There are five Walgreens locations on the Las Vegas Strip, with each location open 24/7. A few of the locations have pharmacies, however, they have limited hours. Like CVS, Walmart also has Allpoint ATMS:

  • 3765 Las Vegas Blvd – Across the Street from Park MGM

  • 3717 Las Vegas Blvd - In front of Planet Hollywood

  • 3397 Las Vegas Blvd – In front of Venetian/Palazzo

  • 3025 Las Vegas Blvd – Across the Street from Resorts World

  • 2427 S Las Vegas Blvd - Across the Street from Sahara

Delivery from Walgreens is available from Door Dash, Grubhub, and Instacart. But keep in mind that you will need to meet your driver in front of your hotel, as they are not allowed to bring your deliveries up to your hotel room.

5. Century food mart

This old-fashioned convenience store has everything, including fresh fruit and cheap beer. You will find a nice selection of grab-and-go food, water, personal care items, candy, and souvenirs. Century Food Mart is located across the street from Resorts World, conveniently located near the Convention Center, Wynn/Encore, Circus Circus, and Fontainebleau.

If you have a suitcase with wheels, unload it first and then head over to Century Food Mart. Fill up the suitcase with your supplies so it will be easier to wheel this back to your hotel, as opposed to carrying a bunch of bags.

When you make your supply run, don’t forger to stock up on water, soda, and other small snacks that you can have in your room too. After a long day out in the Vegas heat, you don’t want your only water option to be a $10 dollar bottle from your in room mini bar. Planning ahead and getting what you need at one of these locations will make your Vegas family vacation a breeze!
