There are so many hotel choices in Las Vegas, so it can feel a little overwhelming when it’s time to book just one. If you’re looking for an affordable, family-friendly choice on the Strip, check out these reasons to book the Horseshow Las Vegas for your next Vegas family vacation.
1. Location, Location, Location
Horseshoe is located directly in the middle of the strip on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo. And thanks to some recent renovations, it’s even directly connected to the Paris Hotel via an indoor walkway. If you’re flying in for your vacation, consider using a cab to get from the airport to the Horseshoe. The Horseshoe is part of the fixed-rate cab pricing and is located in Zone 2.
2. spacious rooms
The average hotel room is usually between 250 to 250 square feet, but the smallest room class at the Horseshoe (Resort rooms) are an impressive 450 square feet! Resort Studios are 590 square feet, Resort Executive rooms are 650 square feet, Resort Premium rooms are 1500 square feet, and the Suites are between 2,550 to 3,425! It can be a huge benefit to have all that extra space, especially when traveling with family.
Many of the rooms facing north have a great view of the sphere and the High Roller. Be sure to request this view if you can!
3. Year round pool
The Horseshoe has an oversized heated pool, perfect for year-round swimming! The pool area is quite large with plenty of chairs. It also has space dedicated to outdoor games including cornhole, an oversized connect four, and foosball. But word of warning - it is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so only expect to use it if you’re coming for a weekend stay.
For a treat, consider renting a cabana for the day. This can serve as a home base for your family for the day.

If you stay at the Horseshoe, you don’t have to leave the property to be entertained! They have tons of attractions for all ages:
Real Bodies: This eye-opening exhibition uses real human specimens to peel back the layers of the body, revealing the astonishing complexity, beauty, and fragility of life beneath the skin.
Twilight Zone Mini Golf: Putt your way into the 5th dimension! Twilight Zone by Monster Mini Golf is a glow-in-the-dark 18-hole miniature golf course entertainment venue in Las Vegas complete with out-of-this-world props, arcade games, bowling, and a live DJ.
Arcade at Horseshoe: Located near the Food Court, this 7,000-square-foot Arcade at Horseshoe offers 90 arcade games in an urban neon playground.

There are four shows at Horseshoe, and several of the shows offer matinees:
Paranormal – International mentalist Frederic Da Silva showcases the powers of his mind in this renowned show. Experience an afternoon of mystery, magic, hypnosis, and mind reading that will leave you astonished and amazed! (Ages 5+)
Potted Potter - Potted Potter takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books into 70 hilarious minutes. Even if you don’t know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, Potted Potter will make you roar with laughter. (Ages 6+)
BattleBots - Catch the live-action thrills of BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon in Las Vegas! This intense, family-friendly show features fan-favorite bots like Bronco and Witch Doctor, plus new mechanical gladiators, in five epic battles and a spectacular main event. Word of warning - this show can get incredibly loud so it isn’t recommended for infants and kids should wear ear protection.
X Rocks - Burlesque Meets Rock ‘ Roll: If your family group is all 18+ or if you can get a night away from the kids, this adults only burlesque show fulfills every rocker’s fantasy by combining burlesque and rock ‘n roll.

At the Horseshoe Las Vegas, you can choose from several different dining options that range from fast food to an high end exclusive steakhouse. There is something for every taste and every budget!
Nosh Deli: Made-to-order deli-style sandwiches piled high with deliciousness and a variety of flaky breakfast pastries make this relaxed deli the right choice for a quick bite. Open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, this is a great option for any meal.

Since Horseshoe is connected to Paris, once on the property be sure to consider the restaurants in Paris too. Our favorite is Mon Ami Gabi, which offers amazing views of the Bellagio fountain.

The Horseshoe Las Vegas has a classic old-style Vegas casino. The casino has over 750 slot and video poker machines, 36 table games, and a large poker room that spreads a variety of cash games and hosts daily tournaments. If you’re looking to fit in some gaming during your vacation, you’ll have plenty of options to do that at the Horseshoe!
8. shopping & dining nearby
Directly in front of the Horseshoe Las Vegas are the Grand Bazaar Shops that feature more than 30 restaurants, attractions, and retailers to visit. If you can’t find something you need inside the Horseshoe, chances are you’ll be able to find it at the Grand Bazaar Shops!

9. Transportation hub
The Las Vegas Monorail also has a stop at the Horseshoe. The Monorail runs from the MGM Grand on the south end of the strip to the Sahara on the North end, making it a super convenient option to save some steps on the Strip.
Riding the monorail can save you money at attractions up and down the strip by using the “Show Your Ticket and Save” promotion, so be sure to keep your ticket and check with the box office at any attraction you’re visiting!

If walking 30,000 steps a day up and down the Las Vegas Strip isn’t enough of a workout for you, the Horseshoe has you covered! The Horseshoe has a state-of-the-art fitness center for all guest 18+, and your access is covered as part of your resort fee.
